Lincolnshire Trades is run by Kian Haughey. It helps people find and contact businesses serving Lincolnshire. Browsing and standard business listings are currently free. We do not take payment for trade work, book jobs or enter the agreement between a customer and a business.

Listings receive a basic review before publication. Approval is not an endorsement or a guarantee of workmanship, qualifications, insurance, safety or availability. Credential claims are supplied by businesses and are not independently verified.

Before hiring, check relevant qualifications, registration, insurance, references and written quotes yourself. Agree the scope, price, payment terms and any cancellation arrangements directly with the business. Contact emergency services or an appropriate emergency provider for urgent safety issues.

You must be at least 18 to create a business account and authorised to represent the business. Keep your sign-in details secure and your listing accurate. Only publish contact details you intend to make public and photos or content you have permission to use.

New listings and changes may be held for review. We may request clarification, decline a listing, remove misleading content or suspend an account for misuse. We do not promise a particular number of views, enquiries or jobs.

Reviews must describe a genuine experience and be honest and relevant. Do not post fake reviews, impersonate someone, make unsupported allegations, publish another person’s private information or upload unlawful, abusive or discriminatory content.

Do not send spam, scrape personal contact details for unsolicited marketing, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the website. contact us to report a problem; include the relevant profile or review link.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Lincolnshire Trades permission to store, display and format that content as needed to operate the directory. You must have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission from people identifiable in work photos.

You can edit your listing through your dashboard and contact us to request removal or account closure. Search engines and other third parties may retain copies outside our control.

Sending an enquiry shares your message and contact details with your selected business. Delivery does not guarantee a reply or acceptance of work. Businesses should check their dashboard inbox regularly. Optional email notifications depend on the service configuration and successful delivery; a saved enquiry does not guarantee an email notification.

We aim to maintain a useful and accurate directory, but information can change and the website may occasionally be unavailable. Businesses are responsible for their services, representations and agreements with customers. Raise concerns about work with the business first; report misleading directory information to us.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory consumer rights or liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms as the directory develops. Any future paid service will be explained separately before you choose to buy it; creating a free listing does not authorise a charge.
